Krishna Bhabini Nari Siksha Mandir, one of the best girls school was established in 1926 by Harihar Sett after his mother's name. This was the first girl's high school in the district. There was an arrangement for only girls to stay and receive education here. Convent for girls at Chandannagar. It was the oldest educational institution in the area. Through the years the school has retained its excellent tradition of exemplary dedication which is reflected in its excellent result in West Bengal Board exam.
